Food Bank Operations Assistant & Hornets Resource Center Program Assistant
If you are interested in connecting with other FC students and making an impact on-campus we invite you to apply! As a key part of our team, you’ll be creating a welcoming environment, assisting with daily operations, organizing supplies, and connecting students with vital resources. Whether it’s sorting food, assisting with deliveries, or attending outreach events, you’ll play a role in making sure our community thrives.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Interest in developing resources and programs
- Familiarity with campus resources (preferred, but not required)
- Must be currently enrolled at Fullerton College
- Must be available to work minimum of 8 hours per week

The Fullerton College Food Bank is not accepting volunteers. Please check back at a later time.
Volunteers are essential to the effective operation of the Food Bank, helping to provide ongoing support to students throughout the year.
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:
- Assisting with weekly deliveries
- Sorting products
- Unpacking and stocking inventory
- Checking in visitors
- Light cleaning
Please note: Per North Orange County Community College District policy, all volunteers for the district must be approved by the Boards of Trustees. The approval process may take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to be completed depending on the time of the year.

The Fullerton College Food Bank is dedicated to supporting students facing food insecurity and other basic needs challenges, and your donations are essential to this mission. We gladly accept contributions of non-perishable food items, hygiene products, diapers, baby supplies, and other essentials to help stock our shelves and provide critical resources to students and their families. Donations can be dropped off at Building 1900, Room 1955, during our operating hours. If you are unable to visit during these times, please email Katarina Barela-Perez at kbarela-perez@fullcoll.edu to schedule an appointment.
